Hi. My name is Grace Yu and I am in 9th grade at Glenbrook South High School in Illinois. This year I am taking Honors English, Algebra 2 Honors, Honors Biology, Spanish 2 Honors, and World History Honors.
My name is Ryan Barua and I am currently a sophomore at Stevenson High School in Illinois. I have several hobbies and interests such as music. I play both the piano and cello. I am also very interested in science and this year I am taking AP Physics 1. This year I am taking Precalculus which is an Honors course. I would love to tutor others in math as it can help with my teaching abilities in addition to understanding math concepts myself.
I am an entering senior in high school with math experience up to AP Calc BC and science experience up to AP physics 1. I have generally done well in all my English classes and I have experience in music, being able to play the bass guitar.
Hi! My name is Kohl Vonder Haar, and I am a junior at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, the #1 ranked high school in Illinois and #8 in the nation. At school, I am the founder of my school's branch of the National History Club, Captain of the Varsity Baseball team, member of the Public Forum Debate team, Mu Alpha Theta branch, Science Olympiad team, and am also a Peer Tutor in math, chemistry, and physics. Outside of school, I enjoy watching baseball, doing photography, and studying math and computer science. I'm glad to further my tutoring pursuits with AAH! and can teach Intro to Python, HTML/CSS, Science, Chemistry, Physics, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Social Studies.
My name is Rakesh Rivera and I live i the suburbs of Chicago. I am Puerto Rican and Indian. I am on my school’s saber fencing team and also participate in debate club and physics club. I would love to help others with math (up to pre-calculus), physics/AP Physics 1&2, honors chemistry or history.
